2012 Highfield Pinot Noir

Certified organic. Semi translucent dark red colour with a light brick red hue. Aromas of dark cherries and plum are intermixed with subtle anise followed by smoky cedar and spice. Light to medium weight with good richness and power the palate features savoury flavours of dark ripe cherries and dark plum over subtle dried meats and spicy cedar. Supple mouthfeel with velvet smooth tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of dark cherries, plum, subtle dried meats and spicy, lightly smoked cedar.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
