2012 Edradour Oloroso Cask Batch #4 12 Year Old Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Early batches are often the best time to catch a series of releases. There's an implied requirement for distillery's to impress at the outset in order to get people talking and establish repeat customers. This isn’t always the case of course. Subsequent releases can be just as good, or better. This looks to be one of those occasions. Just look at the gorgeous hue from those sherry casks... Distilled in 2012 and matured for 12 years in first-fill and second-fill Oloroso butts, this cask strength beauty from one of Scotland's smallest distilleries promises delicious flavours of toffee apple, orange peel, Medjool dates, caramel and stewed fruits. Bottled in June 2024 at a natural cask strength of 58.6%, eight casks yielded a total of 5095 bottles. Non chill filtered.
