2012 Chandon Vintage Brut

Pours with a white frothy mousse that shows good hold. Pale straw colour with pale gold edges and a very profuse fine bead. The nose reveals aromas of baked pears and bread followed by dried honey with yeasty citrus end notes. Refreshing palate entry with citrus and pears melding into some yeast lees characters, faint toast and cashew. Finishes dry with vibrant acidity and an aftertaste of citrus, pear, yeast lees, sherbet and traces of cashew.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
