Matured for 18 months in French oak. Opaque black crimson red colour with deep dark crimson red hue. Top notes of ripe blackcurrant are followed by some mulberry, cedar and spice. Medium to full bodied ripe blackcurrant flavours are to the fore followed by nuances of mulberry, cedary cigar box and spice. Structured but fine grained tannins with aftertaste of blackcurrant, mulberry and spicy cedar.
