Produced from 95% Sangiovese with a 5% Merlot component. Deep dark red colour with dark crimson red hue. The bouquet offers up scents of ripe dark cherries, leather, earthy cedar and spice. Softly textured the palate delivers a savoury profile of dark cherries, earth, leather and spice. Slightly dryish but fine grained dusty tannins. Aftertaste of spicy dark cherry, leather and cedary earth.
