2010 Mitchell Peppertree Vineyard Shiraz

Totally opaque black purple colour with dark purple hue. Perfumed scents of liquorice, ripe blackberry and spearmint intermingle followed by some subtle vanillin confectionary and spice. Medium to full bodied with a refined sense of elegance about it, the palate possesses liquorice and blackberry flavours with a light spearmint overlay followed by some well integrated toasty oak and spice. Slightly dryish on the finish with velvet smooth tannins. Long liquorice, blackberry, subtle spearmint and light well integrated toasty vanillin oak aftertaste.
Cellar 5-6 years.
