Totally opaque black crimson red colour with deep dark crimson red black hue. On the nose ripe blackberry and liquorice aromas are to the fore followed by a hint of spearmint and some confectionary with some cedar end notes. Full bodied the palate has a structured presence yet is generously flavoured with blackberry and liquorice followed by some confectionary, meaty cedar and spice. Slightly dryish but fine grained tannins with long blackberry, liquorice, cedar and spice aftertaste.
