2010 Henriet-Bazin Marie-Amelie Fleur de Vigne Blanc de Blancs Champagne

A very classy Blanc de Blancs Champagne that’s full of finesse and refinement.

A 100% Chardonnay sourced from Premier Cru vineyards. Pours well with a frothy white mousse revealing a pale straw with pale gold tints base wine colour and a very fine bead that shows great persistence. Terrific nose of yeasty baked bread aromas are followed by brioche and more subtle scents of pear, light toast and cashew. A perfect marriage or richness and refinement the palate delivers mouthfilling, creamy textured flavours of yeast lees and brioche intermixed with some faint honeyed characters and cashew over some subtle toastiness. Finishes with perfectly balanced acidity and a long rich aftertaste of brioche, yeast lees, cashew, subtle dried honey and toast.
