Opaque black crimson colour with dark red purple hue. The nose delivers a perfumed aromatic profile of blackberry and liquorice followed by some confectionary and just a hint of spice. Medium to full bodied with a somewhat hollow mid palate lacking the depth, concentration and persistence that Heathcote Shiraz is capable of delivering. Flavours of blackberry, plum, liquorice and confectionary. Fine grained soft tannins with moderate aftertaste of plum, blackberry, confectionary and toast.
