A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Dolcetto & Lagrein. Opaque black crimson colour with dark crimson red hue. A little subdued, the nose reveals aromas of spicy dark cherry, blackcurrant and blackberry followed by a touch of liquorice. Medium to full bodied the palate displays generous flavours of spicy blackberry and blackcurrant followed by some inky characters. Good length but slightly drier and not as joosy as the 2008. Fine grained slightly dryish but balanced tannins. Aftertaste of spicy blackberry and inky blackcurrant.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2011-2014).
