2009 Cloudy Bay Pinot Noir

Boasting magnificent richness, power and quite luscious fruit flavours this is clearly one of the best Cloudy Bay Pinots yet.
Semi translucent dark crimson red colour with dark crimson red mauve hue. The nose is very perfumed with aromas of dark cherries, violets, spicy cedar and a touch of anise. The palate possesses excellent concentration and power whilst still being light to medium bodied. Mouthfilling flavours of spicy dark cherry, dark plum, cedar and a touch of anise with the spice persisting onto the back palate. Superb flavour persistence and depth. Supple mouthfeel with velvet smooth tannins. Long dark cherry, spicy plum and cedar aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years (2014-2015).
