2009 Clarendon Hills Brookman Merlot

Outstanding totally opaque saturated black crimson red colour with deep dark crimson red purple hue. The nose reveals scents of dark mulberry and plum followed by some toasty cedar and spice. Rich, concentrated and mouthfilling the palate delivers generous but well controlled flavours of dark mulberry, dark cherry, toasty cedar, a touch of tobacco and spice. Fine grained, slightly chalky and dry tannins. Long aftertaste of dark mulberry, toasty cedar and spice.
Cellar 4-5 years.
