2009 Bremerton Old Adam Shiraz

Bremerton’s Old Adam Shiraz was matured for 22 months in new extra fine grain American oak. Totally opaque inky black colour with black dark red hue. Perfumed, the nose displays scents of mocha, dark chocolate and liquorice with an overlay of vanillin oak and some spice end notes. Plushly textured the palate delivers a rich full bodied profile of ripe dark plum, mocha and dark chocolate followed by some liquorice, vanillin oak and spice. Voluptuous mouthfeel with silky smooth tannins. Excellent concentration and length with long persistent aftertaste of dark chocolate, liquorice, vanillin oak and spice.
