2008 Wolf Blass Gold Label Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured in a combination of seasoned and new French oak for 18 months. Excellent totally opaque black crimson colour with deep black crimson hue. The nose displays top notes of blackcurrant and mulberry followed by some cedary tobacco like characters and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate delivers the vintages trademark richness with generous fully ripened blackcurrant flavours followed by some ripe mulberry, cedar and spice. Fine grained, slightly dryish but perfectly balanced tannin structure. Long aftertaste of ripe blackcurrant, cedar and spice.
Cellar 4-5 years (2015-2016).
