Bright straw colour with pale gold edges and watery hue. The nose displays excellent intensity and is fuller than the previous two examples of Patrick Piuze Chablis. Lifted aromas of exotic ripe pear, honeyed lemon, biscuit, lees and spice with a light walnut overtone. The palate displays excellent weight and richness for Chablis with flavours of pear, spice, cashew and wet slate followed by some toast and a touch of hazelnut on the back palate. Clean dry finish. Excellent length with long aftertaste of cashew, walnut, spice and toast.
