Outstanding saturated opaque black purple colour with very deep black purple hue showing excellent cling. The nose is a little closed at present with aromas of blackberry, liquorice and confectionary emerging. Full bodied with rich generous palate flavours of super ripe blackberry, dark plum and chocolate followed by some spicy characters on the back palate. Firm, dry, chalky tannins with aftertaste of dark blackberry, chocolate and spice.
