A Grenache Syrah blend that displays a deep dark crimson red colour with crimson mauve hue. The nose displays aromas of ripe raspberries, plums, liquorice and a hint of clove. Light to medium weight the palate lacks the generosity and richness of the 2007’s. Flavours of dark cherry and raspberries with a spicy earth back palate. Dry finish and slightly chalky tannins. Moderate aftertaste of dark cherry, spice and earth.
