2007 Howard Park Leston Shiraz

Matured in French oak for 18 months. Opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. Aromas of blackberry, plum, liquorice allsorts and confectionary – refined but lacking intensity. Medium to full bodied palate with generous ripe blackberry and dark plum flavours followed by a very spicy peppery finish. Fine grained tannins with long liquorice allsorts, blackpepper and spice aftertaste.
