Very deep almost opaque black purple colour with black purple hue. Perfumed top note of violet, blackberry and liquorice. The palate structure is tighter than expected with the fruit giving the impression of closing down. Flavours of stewed fruit and spice. Fine dry chalky tannins. Stewed fruit aftertaste.
