2006 Mitchelton Shiraz

Opaque black purple colour with black purple hue, holding well to the glass walls. The nose is impressive with top notes of liquorice allsorts, violet, black pepper and a hint of vanilla. On the palate flavours of vanilla, confectionary and white pepper creating a very spicy sensation. Fine slightly chalky tannins. Aftertaste of black pepper, confectionary and vanilla.
