2006 Marchesi Mazzei Poggio alla Badiola Sangiovese Merlot

Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Top note of dark cherry and spice followed by a hint of truffle and stewed fruit. Good palate weight with flavours of stewed fruit. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of stewed fruit and spice. Quite spicy aftertaste.
