A tight knit Bin 28. This wine was matured for 13 months in older American oak hogsheads. Very deep crimson colour with crimson mauve hue. Top note of plum, followed by spice with hints of black pepper. The palate structure is quite tight and relatively short. Flavours of spice, white and black pepper are followed by stewed fruit. Fine dry tannins which persist into the aftertaste. Aftertaste of spice and black pepper.
