Opaque black dark red colour with deep dark red hue. The nose displays scents of bay leaf, mulberry and cedar followed by some cigar box and spice undertones. Medium to full bodied the palate possesses good levels of richness with blackcurrant and mulberry flavours followed by some tobacco leaf, cedar and subtle bay leaf. Dryish finish with very fine grained tannins. Long blackcurrant, mulberry, cedary tobacco leaf and spice aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
