2004 Reschke Vitulus Cabernet Sauvignon

Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson mauve hue. Top note of dark chocolate, followed by blackcurrant with vanilla and mint end notes. The palate has good fruit with just a hint of cigar box and blackcurrant emerging. Fine dry tannins, slightly chalky. There is a hint of anise in the background. Aftertaste of cedar and cigar box. A well made tight Cabernet.
