Bright crimson colour with crimson hue. Medium body. Layered nose of confectionary, ripe plum, cherry and spice. The palate shows fine dryish tannins supported by flavours of plum, cherry and stewed fruit. Very good length – a wine of some elegance, more suited as an accompaniment to a Mediterranean dish than quaffing.
