Produced from 40 year old vines, made by Colin and Bruce Beer from the Maggie Beer clan.
Opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. Perfumed nose, with top note of violets, followed by spice, raisin cake and a hint of dark chocolate. The palate flavours are generous. Flavours of ripe plum, prunes, dark chocolate and spice fill the palate. This is quite a voluptuous red, supported by fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of liquorice, mocha and spice.
