Opaque black crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Lifted nose of spice, liquorice and vanilla. The palate is more generous than the Bin 28 but does not deliver the ‘joosy’ qualities of past vintages. Stewed fruit flavours are dominant. Fine dry, chalky tannins which are persistent. Plum, spice aftertaste.
