2003 De Bortoli Windy Peak Chardonnay

A warm dry growing season resulted in excellent quality chardonnay grapes from all sourced areas. The fruit was picked at a range of maturities to fill the flavour profile.Winemaking techniques included barrel fermentation and lees stirring. This chardonnay shows wonderful depth of flavour and complexity with good acid balance and great length.

Tasting Note: Brilliant yellow with green hues. Complex bouquet of melon and fig fruit aromas with barrel ferment characters. A Chardonnay that shows depth of fruit flavour with peach and fig fruit on the palate. A complex wine with crisp acid balance.
