An impressive red, made from a blend of 80% Cabernet and 20% Malbec, produced from 40 year old vines and matured for 22 months in new French oak. Medium body, crimson colour with crimson hue. Top note of blackcurrant followed by light cassis and cedar delivering a perfumed lift. The palate has good weight with flavours of new and old leather, spice and blackcurrant. Excellent length with white pepper back palate. Aftertaste of new and old leather, blackcurrant and spice.
