This wine has been produced from 70 year old Bush vines and whilst many old Grenache vines extract poor colour, this wine has a very deep crimson colour with deep crimson mauve hue. Aroma of raspberry, spice and liquorice followed by plum end notes. The palate is generous with liquorice, raspberry and liquorice allsorts flavours dominant with hints of cherry ripe and black pepper on the back palate. Fine grained softtannins. Excellent length and balance followed by very long aftertaste of spice and liquorice.
