2002 Wedgetail Estate Pinot Noir

This wine has been fermented using wild yeasts. Translucent brick red colour with brick red hue, showing bottle age. Aroma of stewed plum, followed by a hint of spice and cinnamon. On that palate there is a touch of strawberry jam, followed by a hint of stalk. The palate lacks the length and depth expected from cool climate Pinot. Soft tannins. Aftertaste of spice and stewed fruit.
