Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue, and good cling to the walls of the glass. There is some early colour development. The nose shows some developed character – top note of spice and liquorice, with end notes of confectionary, violets and milk chocolate. Fine grained tannins, excellent balance. This wine is right at its peak. Aftertaste of vanilla and confectionary.
