An impressive Pepperjack. Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Perfumed nose, quite impressive, aroma of violets, mulberry, ripe blackcurrant, ripe plum and spice. The palate is impressive, with flavours of blackcurrant emerging followed by hints of chocolate, plum, spice and cedar. Excellent balance. Fine grained tannins. Very long aftertaste of blackcurrant, dark chocolate, cedar and just a hint of aniseed.
