A firm, tannic wine that will repay cellaring. Very deep colour. Almost opaque with deep crimson and mauve hue. The blackcurrant note is dominant followed by aroma of liquorice, violets and cedar. On the palate, flavours of blackcurrant, mocca and liquorice. Firm, dry tannin structure forming the backbone of the wine and persisting long into the aftertaste with liquorice, mocca after flavours.
