A slightly broad Verdelho which is drinking well now. Bright pale straw colour. The nose displays fresh aromatic characteristics of tropical fruit followed by a hint of Jonathan apple. The wine has good palate weight with flavours of baked apple emerging over a layer of spice and Jonathan apple. The spicy character of the wine continues to build. The impression of broadness sets in at this point, but is counter pointed by crisp acid finish and a long aftertaste of musk and baked apple.
