Region: in the vicinity of Portocannone situated south east of the capital of Termoli in the eastern coastal region of Molise.
Production: The grapes are hand picked, then fermented in stainless steel. The wine is then bottled spending over 6 months in the bottle before release.
Characteristics: Dark ruby red in colour with an intense varietal nose typical of the grape. The aromas and flavours are reminiscent of blackberries, liquorice, and a touch of spice finishing long and rich.
Serve: at room temperature allowing time to breathe recommended.
Try With: Suits most dishes especially pasta, risotto, stews and roasts.
