OUTSTANDING VALUE from this old established winemaking family. Very deep crimson mauve purple colour. Youthful nose of spice, with end notes of inky blackpepper, blackcurrant and ripe plum. The palate flavours are very spicy, with inky blackpepper and anise flavours emerging on the back palate. Fine, firmish tannins. Perfect balance, followed by very long aftertaste of ink, plum, blackcurrant and spice.
