An interesting Cabernet from the US. Almost opaque crimson colour with opaque deep crimson hue. Classic ripe Cabernet nose. Top note of blackcurrant, cedar and cigar box. The palate is a touch lighter than expected, with spice and white pepper in the background followed by cedar and a hint of new leather. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of cigar box, blackcurrant and spice.
