This wine is displaying its regionality and making an excellent effort to reflect its terroir. Matured for 20 months in French Oak. Deep straw colour, showing some developed characteristics. Aromas of butterscotch, melon and fig, with the fruit aromas being to the forefront. On the palate, complex layers of toasted oak with yeast lees, subdued almond and cashew flavours emerge. Clean acid finish, followed by an almond lees aftertaste. Cellar 1-2 years.
