This is St Hallett’s first release of Cabernet Shiraz. Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Aroma of chocolate, spice, vanilla and blackcurrant. The palate is relatively light, with flavours of stewed fruit, spice and plum, followed by a hint of liquorice. Fine firmish tannins, followed by an aftertaste of sour cherry and stewed fruit. Cellar 2 – 3 years. (2003 – 2004)
