Medium brick red colour. Excellent aromatic nose, cherry, spice and strawberry aromas over a hint of game. Excellent varietal character on the nose, however, it is the palate that lets the wine down. Light weight, with delicate flavours of cherry, spice and strawberry. Soft tannins, with the acidity being a touch high. Spicy aftertaste. Cellar 2-3 years.
