A wine that requires patience. Very deep crimson colour. Excellent, almost perfumed nose of cherry and spice with aniseed and game end notes. The palate has good weight, but is a touch restrained at the moment. Tight knit, with flavours of cherry, spice and liquorice dominant. Classic cellaring structure and very youthful, but showing excellent balance. Fine grained soft tannins, with long aftertaste of earth, game, stewed fruits, cherry and spice. Cellar 4-5 years.
