A very impressive blend, and a top example from d’Arenberg. Very deep crimson black colour. Aroma of liquorice, blackberries, raspberries and spice with a violet end note. The palate is mouthfilling, youthful and very concentrated. Flavours of spice, blackpepper, raspberry and liquorice. Excellent depth and length with fine grained tannins, perfect balance, followed by very long aftertaste of liquorice, aniseed and raspberry. Cellar 4-5 years.
