An unusual blend which incorporates several wine making techniques in order to manage complexity & flavour. The wine is made from a blend of 70% Sauvignon Blanc, 25% Semillon and 5% Chardonnay. The Sauvignon Blanc was fermented in new oak barrels, using the naturally occurring wild yeasts of the vineyard.Bright pale straw colour. Aromas of confectionery, butterscotch and yeast lees over a background of tropical fruits and spice. Mouthfilling palate with a rich creamy texture. Flavour of ripe gooseberries, ripe figs, spice, melon and peach with a hint of clove. Clean crisp acid finish with peach, melon, tropical fruits aftertaste. Cellar 1-2 years.
