The wine has a very youthful appearance. Medium weight, brilliant crimson mauve colour. Aromas of ripe plum and stewed fruit over a background of cinnamon spice. The palate reflects the youthful appearance of the wine with flavours of inky plum and stewed fruit. Fine grained tannins, with aftertaste of inky blackberries and a trace of black pepper. Cellar 3-4 years.
