Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Superb lifted nose of ripe fruit followed by layers of violets, tar, chocolate and spice with endnotes of blackcurrant and white pepper. The palate reflects the nose with spice, chocolate, blackcurrant and earth palate flavours, followed by a back palate of leather and smoky oak. Excellent balance. Fine dry tannins, quite persistent with long aftertaste of mint, earth, leather and plum.
