An excellent example of Hunter Valley Shiraz. Medium body, brick red colour. Aroma of leather, earth, spice and plum with a hint of marzipan on the end. A classic Hunter style. On the palate, the Hunter 'characteristics' persist, with flavours of earth, plum and spice. Fine grained tannins, excellent balance, with peppery back palate flavours emerging and a warmish aftertaste with overtones of spice, leather and confectionary.Cellar 3-4 years (2005-2006)
