Deep crimson colour, supported by a deep crimson mousse, which dissipates relatively quickly. Fine bead. The nose displays aroma of plum and stewed fruit followed by an earthy end note. The palate is very dry, quite unusual for a sparkling shiraz where the primary fruit qualities are to the fore, and the tannins are too dry and firm. Creamy texture, with the dry tannins persisting into the aftertaste. Drink.
