1997 Barossa Valley Estate Ebenezer Shiraz

This wine was matured in a combination of French and American oak for 12 months. Deep brick red colour with crimson overtones. Aroma of vanilla, confectionery, dark chocolate and spice, almost perfumed with earthy end notes. Generous classic Barossa palate - filled with ripe flavours of spicy dark plums, blackberry, liquorice, vanilla and spice. Mouthfilling. Fine grained dry tannins, followed by a very long vanilla, liquorice and spice aftertaste. Cellar 5-8 years. 14.4% alcohol volume.
