Single cask rums are not new, however Pierre Ferrand take the concept one step further by finishing rums in some very unusual casks. Unlike Scotch whisky or Cognac, for example, the rum category is largely unregulated, so almost anything's possible. This is one of ten rums from Plantation's 2017 collection, initially matured in Bourbon casks for 5 years followed by a finishing year in Ferrand's Dry Curacao casks.
